About Our Family Business

Our third generation family business began in 1985, founded by my grandparents and my mother, Hazel. It all started with a powerful discovery—my grandmother, who suffered from psoriasis, noticed something remarkable while milking the family’s goats. When she applied a little of the fresh milk to her irritated skin, the results were astonishing—her skin smoothed and healed faster than ever before.

Inspired by this, the very first product we created was our Goat’s Milk Moisturising Cream. Since then, it has helped thousands of people worldwide soothe conditions like eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, and dry, sensitive skin.

As a family, we continued to explore natural remedies and soon uncovered the incredible benefits of honey in skincare. This led us to create a honey range, including our rich Famous Gardener’s Handcream, a hit with gardeners and anyone who works with their hands. Word spread quickly, and by the 1990s, our handcream had earned its iconic name. We soon followed up with Fisherman’s Handcream, designed to provide extra protection for those working in and around water.

In the 2000s, we took our love for honey a step further by creating our Luxury Manuka Honey Range. Manuka honey is renowned for its unique antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, making it a powerhouse ingredient for soothing and nourishing the skin. The range offers deeply hydrating and healing benefits, Great for nails. Our Manuka Range has become one of our most celebrated collections.

After studying business and beauty, I, Gemma, officially joined the family business, bringing a fresh perspective to our growing range of natural skincare. Recently, I’ve taken on the role of director, helping to preserve our heritage while driving the company forward.

Today, we still handcraft all our original products, along with many more, using our closely guarded secret recipes and minimal equipment. Located on the beautiful Shropshire/Cheshire border in rural England, we’ve embraced a green policy and continue to sell our Elegance Natural Skin Care range, staying true to the heart of what makes our business special—family tradition, care, and nature’s finest ingredients.

Our Green Policy

Natural is more than just a word to us-its a way of life. We care about our environment and all the benefits that it gives us, in return we feel we should help preserve it. All our products are made with the minimum of equipment to reduce our carbon footprint. Most of our pots and bottles are recyclable.

The packing chips we use are recyclable and made from potato starch, they are not very tasty but are great for the enviornment!
